Michael and Michelle
Age: Michael 3.5 years old Michelle 5 years old
Gender: Male and Female
Can live with children: 16+
Can live with cats: Yes
Can live with dogs: Calm cat savvy dog
Micheal and Michelle came to us after we took them and their kittens in from a stray colony. Both are neutered, chipped and Fiv/Felv negative.
Micheal and Michelle are a beautiful happily married pair. Their kittens have since been rehomed and now it’s their turn to find a family. They have been with us for about 2 years now, making them our longest resident cats.
Michelle is the vocal one, she outshines everyone here at meal times and will make you more than aware of her presence until she is fed. If she hears a dreamies packet rustling she will make sure you know not to forget her! A very food led lady is our Michelle.
She has the most enchanting eyes we have ever seen on a cat, almost like they could hypnotise you into giving her more dreamies…
Other than being a foodie, Michelle enjoys protecting her husband when he’s scared, cuddling him and playing. Whilst she isn’t shy she can be slightly timid if you get too close.
Micheal is the calm one that doesn’t want any trouble, he will greet you at meal times with a meow and a sweet look on his face and kindly accept your peaceful food offering. However he is not a fan of people invading his personal space, he can be a bit of a scaredy cat and will use his wife as a shield, although he doesn’t mind you cleaning up around him and telling him how handsome he is. He enjoys cuddling his wife, long naps and dreamies.
Both these cats would excel in a home environment, a family home life is different to life in rescue.
Their start to life was a tough one and being with us for so long there is only so much progress they can make. They just need a family with love and patience to help build their confidence.
They could live with children 16+ who understand they will need space to settle in. They could live with other cats and even a calm cat savvy dog that will not chase them.
Could you offer this lovely husband and wife a loving home?

** MUMMA PUSS AND DAVE **
Mumma Puss and Dave are 2 of the 50 cats caught down at Felixstowe Dock. Mumma has had endless litters of kittens and was a real challenge to catch. I am sure Dave had a lot to do with her many litters as he was trapped on the same patch. Mumma was finally trapped with the help of one of the lorry drivers on the docks. He fed her every night and she used to run toward his lorry as soon as he appeared. They are now in the region of 6 years old, both neutered and tested negative for FIV and Felv.
This was all happening during covid, so these 2 have been with us for some while and then endured the floods.
They are very confident in the cattery but still evasive, of human touch. Progress is good and a home environment would certainly help them along. If you have a safe room for them to settle into and lots of time and patience do give us a call.

SABRINA AND TWILIGHT
Age: 3-5 years
Gender: Female x2
Can live with children: 14+
Can live with cats: yes
Can live with dogs: calm cat savvy dogs
Sabrina and Twilight have been with us for a while now, we rescued them and some others from a garden, the others have since found homes so now it’s the girls turn! The girls are both chipped, neutered and Fiv/Felv negative. They are both lovely unique cats, whilst you might not tell them apart by looking at them you will certainly know who is who based on their personality.
Sabrina
Sabrina enjoys breakfast and dinner time, judging you from her bed, playing and cuddling with her sister and if you’re lucky, a head scratch
She’s a wonderful girl, one of our favourites at the rescue, it’s clear to see once in a home she will be an amazing companion and would enjoy nothing more than judging the rest of the world from the comfort of her own windowsill or with her new owner.
Twilight
Twilight is a bit more of a softy than Sabrina, she is the more confident (less judgy) one of the two. She will greet you pleasantly with a meow and a head bump at feeding times. She enjoys playing, tunnels, cardboard scratchers, cuddles with her sister and dreamies. She also will thrive once in a home, she is still a kitten at heart and would like a redo of her kitten-stage but in a home this time.
They could live with children 14+ who understand they will need space to settle in. They could live with other cats and even a calm cat savvy dog! They will need to stay indoors until they are completely confident with their surroundings and new family.
Could you offer these beautiful girls a loving home?

Charlie
Age: 7 years
Breed: Domestic short hair
Can live with children: 10+
Can live with cats: Yes
Can live with dogs: No
Charley came into our care as a stray. He is Fiv/Felv negative, neutered and chipped. He does have a thyroid condition and is on medication for life.
Charlie has a very sweet personality, he’s very affectionate, needy and a big baby.
He would make an excellent lap cat and is very much a second shadow, meowing at us if we aren’t providing enough attention.
He hasn’t been used to affection being a stray for so long, so sometimes likes his own space as he can get a little bit overstimulated.
Charlie has a thyroid condition that requires medication for life. He is such a good boy and takes it quite happily on his food morning and evening. He would do anything for his food especially if dreamies are involved!
He could live with children 10+ who understand he will need space to settle in. He would like a safe room to start off in and when the time comes would enjoy a safe outside environment to explore.

** MARGO **
Meet Margo another one of our ex-ferals now ready for a new home.
She is such a character full of fun and loves to throw herself down for tummy tickles, sometimes going in for a gentle nibble but offers herself to cuddles.
She is approx 18 months old, spayed, and chipped and negative for FIV/Felv.
She could live with other cats and calm dogs and children. She is used to rural life so no busy roads please.
Do get in touch if you would like to meet her.

** TILLY **
Tilly our sweet little 13 year old girl is still needing a new home, due to time wasters, wanting her/not wanting her?
She is a very sweet little lady and is in extremely good health. We do not know if she has ever lived with other pets as she came to us as a stray but she could certainly live with well behaved children, as she has no malice in her.
If you have a Tilly sized bed, she would just love to come and snuggle up.

** SLINKY AND DASHER **
Slinky and Dasher are 2 of our long term cats that really need to get into a new home. They are around 7 years old and very used to indoor life now having lived feral for most of their lives. Although still shy, particularly of strangers they are more than ready now to begin a home life.
They have both been neutered, blood tested and chipped. They would need keeping indoors for several months, which is not so easy in the summer months, so needs to be a big consideration. They could happily live with other cats and a well behave quiet dog and older children.
Please only apply if you are prepared to be patient and give them the time that they will need. Email contact preferred, or a message can be left on our phone.

Squirrel
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Can live with children: 16+
Can live with cats: Yes
Can live with dogs: Calm cat savvy dog
Squirrel came to us after she was found ruling over an allotment with her friend Fox who has since been rehomed, she is chipped, neutered and FIV/Felv negative.
Squirrel is another fan favourite at the rescue, adored for her very unique, fiery princess personality.
Squirrel likes
Meal times and will greet you with a very excited tail and a very sweet meow.
Laying in her bed and judging you (harshly) with her gorgeous eyes.
Playing either by herself or with you, she absolutely loves chasing a ball or spring if you throw it for her or is happy to entertain herself.
Making new feline friends, she’s very adaptable and plays very nicely with others. Human friends are a slightly different story but we’ll get to that.
Squirrel doesn’t like
Humans
Only joking, slightly, she doesn’t mind humans as long as they follow her rules:
They can’t get too close to her, she doesn’t need you to stroke her, it’s not for her, she’s not a fan. That’s okay, we respect boundaries here.
Tell her she’s pretty and expect smack talk back, you could be the nicest person in the world telling her the nicest things but she will growl at you in return.
Don’t look at her directly in the eye when she’s playing or going about her princess duties, you will receive verbal hatred and she will look at you like she’s plotting your death (which she probably is).
Secretly Squirrel is an absolute dream boat and in the correct home with patience and love will flourish into the angel princess we know she can be!
She could live with children 16+ who understand she will need space to settle in. She could live with other cats and even a calm cat savvy dog that will not chase her.
Could you offer this sassy sweet girly a loving home?

The Bread Kittens
Age: 7 months
Gender: 2 boys 2 girls
Can live with children: 10+
Can live with cats: Yes
Can live with dogs: Calm cat savvy dog
The bread kittens came to us after we recieved a call from a gentleman who only saw them as a nuisance.
They are all chipped, neutered and FIV/Felv negative.
The bread kittens, Focaccia, Bagel, Pretzel and Crumpet are all very sweet, very crazy kittens!
They came to us completely feral but after a few months of love and patience they have tamed up nicely.
They are very playful, mad as a box of frogs and always excited for meal times, all 4 of them line up at their bowls eagerly awaiting their food.
The girls will happily have a stroke now especially if it’s being followed up by treats. The boys are still a little shy and need a loving home to get comfortable in, although there is absolutely nothing shy about them at meal times.
These kittens will only be rehomed in PAIRS and will not be singled off. They are very bonded and love nothing more than playing and cuddling up with each other.
They could live with children 10+ who understand they will need space to settle in. They could live with other cats and even a calm cat savvy dog that will not chase them.

Salem
Age: 6 – 7 months old
Gender: Male
Can live with children: 10+
Can live with cats: Yes he’s looking for a friend!
Can live with dogs: Yes calm cat savvy
Salem came to us after a lovely couple rescued him and his mum from a junk yard in London. He is Fiv/Felv negative, neutered and chipped.
Salem is an absolute sweet heart, he longs for a bestfriend he can spend his days cuddling and playing with so needs to be rehomed to a household with a resident cat. Preferably one that enjoys playing and being silly!
After breakfast Salem can be found either lazing about in his hammock or having the playful zoomies, making a total mess of his freshly cleaned pen! (but we don’t mind we love to see him enjoying himself). He then likes to walk around the cattery introducing himself to any newbies or saying hi to his friends!
Salem enjoys play time the most, he is a typical fun loving kitten who is making up for the lost time he spent on the streets. He absolutely adores strokes and will flop onto his side and give you his loudest purr’s! he is truly the sweetest and funniest little boy, a true joy to have around and as much as we all love him, we would love to see him in a home more
He must be rehomed with a resident cat/kitten. He could live with children 10+ who understand he will need space to settle in. He would like a safe room to start off in and when the time comes would enjoy a safe outside environment to explore.

** EDDIE **
Breed: Domestic short hair
Gender: Male
Can live with children: 10+
Can live with cats: Yes he’d like a friend!
Can live with dogs: Yes, a calm cat savvy dog
Eddie came to us after he was reported running between cars in a busy local supermarket car park. He is Fiv/Felv negative, neutered and chipped.
As a typical young male, Eddie is very playful and enjoys his toys as well as a fuss. He is still learning to play with claws away, so we are looking for a home without children or children 10+.
He’s a very vocal little lad, especially around food. It’s fair to say, he loves his grub!
He must be rehomed with a resident cat/kitten. He would like a safe room to start off in and when the time comes would enjoy a safe outside environment to explore.

** FIV CATS NEEDING INSIDE HOMES **
Sadly we are getting more FIV cats coming into our care. So many unneutered cats out there spreading disease at even a younger age now, we didnt used to see many under 5 years old, but now getting many 2 to 3 year olds coming in testing positive. Here are just a few of our newcomers who have tested positive and are awaiting an indoor home.
Harley the handsome ginger boy is now neutered and blood tested and aged at approx 3 years old. A very loving boy in good health, he was obviously someones pet at some time and has sadly ended up living as a stray. He must be indoor only or have access to a catio.
Next boy recently arrived is Kieran who also turned up as a stray. He is also now neutered and blood tested and looking for an indoor home. He has only been with us a couple of weeks and is already happy to have head rubs. I believe he also once lived a domestic life. Another handsome boy let down by his previous owners.
Then we have little Blinkey as sassy little calico aged at under 5 years old. She is interested in being friends but came from a farm so had limited human contact. Now spayed and ready to move on. She is in good health and would I think prefer to be the only pet.
If you are looking for an indoor cat do get in touch, local homes only please.
