** WALLY **
“A clever, playful boy who just needs the right person to believe in him”
Age: 5 years
Breed: Lurcher
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Adoption fee: £400

Wally is a handsome 5 year old lurcher. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.

Wally has been in our care since he was 10 months old and is still waiting for his perfect home. Wally is our longest stay dog and we would love to see him in a home.

Wally is a sweet boy. He is full of life and energy. He absolutely loves to play and is super intelligent. He would thrive in a home with a regular routine and lots of things to keep him busy. He loves water and will happily jump in a pond for a swim. His favourite activity is having an off lead run.in the enclosed field and playing in his paddling pool in the summer!

He is fast to learn and enjoys using his brain. Wally walks well on the lead, although can get silly when dogs walk past. He must wear his muzzle when out on walks as he can get overwhelmed at times.

Wally is a firm favourite amongst our volunteers and is often the dog we pick to walk with our new volunteers due to his loving personality. He loves a butt scratch and dances when recieving one. He is a cheeky, clever boy.

Wally does have a bite history and has had a few issues around being over handled. Whilst he is very happy to have cuddles and play, he doesn’t like being pulled around and can get stroppy when told what to do! But his stubborn moods are few and far between. To prevent him getting overwhelmed in the home he would like a quiet space that’s just his so when there are lots of people round he can take himself to his safe space.

Whilst Wally does have a bite history his incidents are few and far between with clear triggers. He hasn’t had an incident in almost three years and providing you can read his body language and know his triggers he is a perfectly happy and well behaved boy!

Wally would like a pet free, child free home with someone with large breed dog experience. He is such an amazing boy who deserves the right home. Wally would happily have dog friends on a walk and quite enjoys walking with his friends once introduced properly.

Despite his past Wally wants to move on from it and with the right home will absolutely flourish. He is a firm favourite of ours and whilst we absolutely adore him, we would love to see him in a home before he has another birthday at the rescue!

Wally truly is an amazing boy. He is a loveable, playful lurcher who thrives around people. He loves his people and craves a warm loving home.

We will discuss Wally’s full history with any potential owner and offer continued ongoing training and support for life when he finds a home.

Could you offer this giant goofball a loving, experienced home?

Beautiful Alice came into us through no fault of her own. Alice is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. She is a standard American bulldog and does not reach the height requirement to be an XL bully.

Alice is a giant softie at heart. She loves people and would happily spend her entire day by your side. She could live with children 14+ who have lived with big dogs.

Alice loves to run and play. She loves to sunbathe and is often referred to as a sun hippo! Despite her looks she is a cuddly monster who deserves a chance to live in a home. She can be strong on the lead but is getting much much better. She enjoys her trips to the enclosed field and is all smiles and play.

Age: 3 years
Breed: Crossbreed (medium)
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: No
Adoption fee: £400

Zeke is a handsome boy who came to us after another rescue could no longer meet his needs. Zeke is chipped, neutered and vaccinated. He is also negative for brucellosis.

Zeke has had a hard life so far. He came over from Romania via another rescue and has sadly spent most of his time in the UK in kennels. His original rescue couldn’t meet his needs so he came over to us.

He is an absolutely amazing boy. Zeke loves a cuddle and a good chin scratch! He loves chew toys and his treat ball! He is a really happy boy who adores people once he knows them.

Zeke walks well on the lead but his recall is a work in progress. He loves his walks, especially ones in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the town. He can be dog reactive and whilst he has made some friends with slow introductions, he will need continued training on this.

Zeke is a special boy who is looking for a calm quiet home. Whilst he absolutely loves a cuddle and a play, he can become over excited and get a bit mouthy! He is looking for experienced owners who can recognise when he needs quiet time.

Zeke is a firm favourite with our volunteer dog walkers and is such a sweet boy. He is eager to please and loves his free time in a private hire field. He knows some basic commands.

Zeke could have walking canine friends with good introductions but would like a pet free home. He can still be a little worried by fast moving vehicles but for the most part is well behaved around cars. He absolutely loves travelling in the car and is good as gold. Zeke does walk in a Muzzle as on occasion he gets stressed on walks and can be mouthy but these incidents are few and far between.

He is looking for an understanding home with a secure garden. He can be left for short periods of time. He is looking for a pet free child free home. He can guard food so would like a quiet place to eat in peace away from his humans.

Zeke has so much love to give and is such a fun boy. Could you offer him a loving home?

** DRACO **
“A gentle giant who just needs time to trust”

Age: 5 years
Breed: Mastiff cross
Gender: Male
Can live with dogs: A large breed female
Can live with cats: No
Can live with children: 16+
Adoption fee: £400

Draco is a handsome Mastiff cross who came into our care after his owner surrendered him to the police. He is neutered, chipped and up to date of vaccines.

Draco is an absolutely amazing boy. He is a giant baby who loves cuddles and attention. Draco can take time to trust new people however it is time well spent as once he knows and trusts you he is the gentlest most amazing boy. He is loyal and bonds deeply with his people. You cannot help but to fall in love with this boy.

Draco walks well on a lead, although on occasion can still pull. His recall is a work in progress but being people centered he is very trainable. He is showing great potential with other dogs and could possibly with introductions live with a large breed female dog. He has lived with dogs previously so we are confident he would again.

Draco would like a home with people 16+ as whilst he is becoming a super super friendly boy he can on occasion be nervous with strangers especially when entering the home. Draco loves to play and does sometimes forget his size. He is gentle when taking food and will give you his big puppy eyes for a treat.

Draco would like a large breed experienced home who will introduce him to the world at his pace. He would like an active home who are happy to take him on daily walks.

Could you offer this big boy a loving home?

** MOJO **
“A quirky soul looking for someone who gets him”

Age: 5 years
Breed: Spaniel
Gender: Male
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No, could have walking friends
Can live with cats: No

Mojo is a stunning Spaniel who is looking for an experienced home. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Mojo is a sweet boy who loves to let down his fur, play, and sniff his way everywhere. He is a real foody and this is a great way to earn his trust, but can grab treats so watch those fingers!

Food is a good way to make friends with Mojo as sadly he has had some issues that have led to him being in rescue. He’s a little bit of a Victor Meldrew at times and likes his own space.

He is looking for a patient, gently owner who will take the time to get to know Mojo at Mojo’s own pace.

Mojo loves a walk but can’t be let off the lead, in true Spaniel style he’ll follow his nose, forgetting he has ears!

He does, however, love the enclosed field and will run around like a lunatic expelling any energy. This is a time for you to relax as Mojo just wants to do his thing and sniff everywhere. You don’t have to entertain him much. An occasional ball throw maybe. He loves a cuddle and will happily show you how much he loves you but this is on his terms. He likes to initiate cuddle time!

Mojo will happily jump in the car but does get protective of the car/crate when it comes to getting him back out. He can also be protective of his toys and bed in a home so needs his own personal Mojo bed space where he can take himself off to for some Mojo time.

Don’t worry, he’ll soon pop out of there if you call him. (Especially if he thinks there’s something yummy to be had)

Unfortunately, if you do push Mojo he will push back with his teeth. We will show you and work with you to learn Mojo’s quirks and the best way to manage him. You could start by coming to meet him and taking him for a walk.

Mojo doesn’t need too much grooming but what he does need will continue to be done by us, free of charge for life, as he’s not a fan of a pampering session.

Mojo will need a pet free adult only home. He really is a beautiful quirky boy who would be a fabulous companion in the right home. Whilst he would like to be the only pet he could have dog friends to go on walks with.

Could you be his final forever home?

Narla has a wonderful personality. She is loving and cuddly and just fun to be around

She loves to play and enjoys a run round the enclosed field. She is super playful and so cheeky. You can’t help but fall in love with this wonderful girl.

She can be a bit of a puller at the start of the walk but soon settles. She loves her walks but is never going to be a dog that walks for miles and miles. She isn’t a fan of other dogs so would like a pet free home.

Narla isn’t a fan of men. She would like a female only home. She would prefer to be shut away if their are male visitors as she really isn’t a fan.

**CALLIE**
Age: 1 year
Breed: bull breed mix
Gender: Female
Can live with children: No
Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No

Callie is a sweet girl who is looking for a very special home after a life of mistrust and rejection. She is chipped and vaccinated. She hasn’t had a first season yet so will go home with a neutering contract.

Callie is a gorgeous girl with a truly lovely soul. She loves to play and run around the paddocks. Her favourite thing is to take a trip to the private hire field for a good run around!

Poor Callie has been passed from pillar to post and it has left her with trust issues. She takes a while you become comfortable with people. Once she trusts you she is the most loyal companion. She isn’t a fan of other dogs and doesn’t want dog friends, due to this she walks in a muzzle.

Callie loves her walks and prefers countryside walks away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Callie is looking for a large breed experienced home. Her ideal home would be with a single person or couple who live in a semi rural or rural environment. Fences must be a minimum of 6ft. She would like a home with no visiting children or dogs.

Callie has come on in leaps and bounds with her training. We would ideally like her to stay local so we can continue her training with new adopters. We would consider homes further out who have support from a local behaviourist in place before adoption.

Callie despite her faults is an absolutely amazing girl. In many ways she is a gentle giant who just wants somebody to love her.
